Rush® enhances nutrient-consumption activity and increases oxygenation in the water, accelerating the decomposition of floating organic matter. It is best used with the AquaSphere®PRO

This all-natural stagnant pond water treatment eliminates the dangers of stagnant pond water and treats low-oxygen environments. It spreads onto the targeted organic material and lasts 7-10 days.

All-Natural: Rush® is a fast-acting granular pond water oxidizer and cleaner, making it a natural alternative to copper-based algaecides.

Treats Stagnant Pond Water Dangers: Rush® is good for dealing with string or heavy matted material floating on your pond, green slime on rocks in the pond area, seasonal spikes in temperature, or increasing the oxygenation of the water.

How do I use RUSH for Floating Organic Matter?

Use Rush® for floating organic matter, which typically falls into a moderate to severe pond problem. The sides of your pond will most likely be accumulating organic matter as well.
5 pounds of Rush® will treat 400 sq. /ft. of floating organic matter.
10 pounds of Rush® will treat 800 sq. /ft. of floating organic matter.

Calculate the Surface Area of Pond
Length x Width = square feet of surface area
Estimate the surface area of the pond covered by the organic matter.
Apply Rush® evenly over the organic matter surface area at a rate of 1 pound per 80 sq. /ft. every 3-7 days as needed for removal and control. Ponds with floating organic matter may experience lower water oxygen levels as the floating matter decomposes. Ponds with large fish populations should reduce the dosage by 50% and treat affected area every 2-3 days.

How do I use RUSH for water treatment?

Use Rush® if your pond has suspended solids or cloudy water.
5 pounds of Rush® will treat 30,000 gallons of treatment water.
10 pounds of Rush® will treat 60,000 gallons of treatment water.

Calculate the Total Gallons of Water
Length x Width x Depth x 7.5 = Total Gallons
Ponds: Apply Rush® evenly over the surface of the water at a rate of 1 pound for every 6,000 gallons every 7 days as needed.
Ornamental Water Features: Apply Rush® evenly over the surface of the water at a rate of 1 cup for every 4,500 gallons as needed every 7 days.

How do I use RUSH for water health maintenance

Use Rush® if your pond has a history of poor water quality.
5 pounds of Rush® treats 250,000 gallons of healthy water.
10 pounds of Rush® treats 500,000 gallons (1/4-acre) of healthy water.

Calculate the Total Gallons of Water
Length x Width x Depth x 7.5 = Total Gallons
Ponds: Apply Rush® evenly over the surface of the water at a rate of 1 pound for every 50,000 gallons (1 cup will treat 30,000 gallons of water) every 7 days as needed.
Ornamental Water Features: Apply Rush® evenly over the surface of the water at a rate of 1/4 cup for every 2,500 gallons every 7 days as needed.

DO NOT ADD Bioverse microbial products for 24 hours after treatment.

Is this safe for fish and animals?

CAUTION:
Microbial treatment in ponds with low oxygen levels, high water stagnation (no aeration), with high levels of organic matter AND containing large fish populations run a risk of initiating fish death due to low water oxygen levels. It is recommended that ponds stocked with fish be tested for oxygen levels as well as having a source of aeration in the pond prior to treatment with microbials.

Can I use this with Healthy Ponds Microbial products?

Yes, here are some things to consider. Treatment with microbials requires oxygen to establish bioremediation. Microbial treatments will reduce the water oxygen levels as the bioremediation occurs. Bioverse’s microbial products are 100% natural, safe, and effective for fish in all ponds as long there is enough oxygen for the number of fish living in that pond. Ponds with large number of fish should have mechanical aeration systems in place as treatment is started for improved results.
