Over 30-years ago, Chris Todd was introduced to the Toro brand and quickly recognised its value and application potential across several market segments. Chris purchased the existing New Zealand agent for Toro, gaining the exclusive distribution rights. Thus, Parkland was born in 1988 from its original premise in Ride Way, Rosedale.

We have come a long way in our 30-years of operating (despite still being located down the road from the original site). Since the mid-1990’s we have been extending our brand portfolio and are now the exclusive distributors for several world-class brands related to the turf industry, including Grillo, Yamaha Golf Carts, Motorola Irrigation and Pope. We have also expanded both in size and geography, with 40 staff between our Auckland, Christchurch and Cromwell branches.
