The RN 180 solenoid valve is designed for optimal handling of large flow rates, making it suitable for irrigating sports and agricultural facilities with flow rates from 200 l/min to 1,100 l/min. RN 180 is available with 2" and 3" female threads and 24 Vac and 9 Vdc voltages. Certified as PN12, all its components are tested up to 14 bar before leaving the factory.

9 Vdc Solenoid

9 Vdc Solenoid

Battery-operated controllers control 9Vdc latching solenoids. The control unit will send an electrical signal at the start of irrigation to open the solenoid valve and a signal at the end of irrigation to close the solenoid valve.

24 Vac Solenoid

24 Vac Solenoid

The controllers control 24 Vac normally closed solenoids. The control unit will supply the solenoid with a 24 Vac electrical signal for the entire irrigation time to open the electrovalve.

FAQ's

What is a relief valve and what does it do?

In irrigation systems, a relief valve, also called a pressure relief valve (PRV), acts as a safety guard against pressure spikes. Here's how it protects your irrigation system:

Prevents Damage: Imagine your irrigation system as a network of pipes. When water pressure builds beyond a safe limit, the relief valve acts like a release valve. It opens and diverts excess water, preventing pipe bursts, sprinkler head damage, and potential leaks.

Protects Components: High pressure can also harm pumps, valves, and other irrigation system components. The relief valve safeguards these by ensuring pressure stays within the recommended range.
