A range of low flow pressure regulators designed to stabilise outlet pressure and optimise emitter performance in micro irrigation systems.

  • High-strength, chemical-resistant ABS construction for durability.
  • Stainless steel spring for long wear.
  • Three outlet pressure options: 70 kPa, 100 kPa or 175 kPa.
  • 20mm (3/4” BSPF) inlet x 20mm (3/4”) BSPM outlet.
  • Pressure regulators have minimal moving parts and a pressure protection mechanism to respond to system back pressure.
  • Threads directly to 3/4" (20mm) tap

Operating Pressure: 0 - 690 kPa
Flow Range: 0.4 - 30 lpm

Applications
Drip, spray and sprinkler systems in landscape applications. Ideally connected to taps, valves, tap timers and irrigation valves in a manifold system

Installation

  • The Pressure Regulators must always be installed downstream from all shut-off valves, regardless of the application.
  • Regulators should be installed with the vent hole unobstructed.
  • Do not use sealing compound (solvent cement). If needed, teflon tape may be used to seal for leaks.

FAQ's

What is a relief valve and what does it do?

In irrigation systems, a relief valve, also called a pressure relief valve (PRV), acts as a safety guard against pressure spikes. Here's how it protects your irrigation system:

Prevents Damage: Imagine your irrigation system as a network of pipes. When water pressure builds beyond a safe limit, the relief valve acts like a release valve. It opens and diverts excess water, preventing pipe bursts, sprinkler head damage, and potential leaks.

Protects Components: High pressure can also harm pumps, valves, and other irrigation system components. The relief valve safeguards these by ensuring pressure stays within the recommended range.
