PVC Plain Reducing Bush 25 x 15mm

Features

  • 25mm (1 inch) x 15mm (½ inch) PVC plain reducing bush
  • For use on all grades of PVC pressure pipe

Tips

  • Ensure pipe end is cut square, debur and chamfer as required
  • To ensure correct assembly of joint, mark pipe at a distance equal to the socket depth
  • Dry assemble to check pipe end fits inside socket (i.e. tight fitting)
  • Clean pipe end and inside of socket using a clean cloth freshly moistened with priming fluid
  • Apply solvent cement to cover both surfaces in full (i.e. pipe end and inside socket)
  • Immediately assemble, pushing pipe home to the full depth of pipe socket
  • Hold bonded joint in position for at least 30 seconds
  • Do not disturb for 5 minutes
  • Wait the recommended curing time before pressure testing (i.e. HR Type P Solvent Cement recommends 24 hours before pressure testing)
